Karneval

        Karneval is about a young boy named Nai.  Nai has white hair with streaks of purple behind his ears, and bright red eyes. He encounters many different people along his journey to find his friend, Karoku.  Nai had never been outside of his home, so when his caretaker/friend leaves and doesn't return, he ventures out to find him. He finds a trail of blood leading to a bracelet. He leaves the only place he has ever lived to find out hat happened to him. He encounters a woman who turns out to be a MONSTER.

       First, he meets Gareki. Gareki ends up saving Nai from the monster. Gareki is an older teen boy with dark hair, and a deep shade of blue for his eyes. Gareki steals for a living, which is the main reason him and Nai met. At first you would think he is your run-of-the-mill theif, but he's not. Gareki came from a family who sold him. He floated to shore in a nearby village, when the ship he was on sank. He lived with the family until the older sibling, who was their new caretaker, was killed. He would later learn whom killed her.



       These two boys travel a little bit until they are chased down by these monsters called Varugas. Varuga are made by an evil organization who named themselves Kafka. Men from Kafka chase the two boys down in a village. Luckily for them, Circus was in town. Circus is an organization that tries to get rid of the monsters created by Kafka. The two are saved by Yogi.

       Yogi is a member of Circus. Yogi has blond hair, and hazel eyes. He is childish and has a "bubbly personality." These qualities make Nai able to warm up to Yogi, quickly. Yogi will become serious when anybody is in trouble. Yogi also connects to Gareki, but their relationship takes time because Gareki tries to distance himself from others in fear of losing someone else.

       These three help each other out. With the help from Yogi and the other members of Circus, Nai is able to find Karoku...or someone like him. What will happen when Nai-chan finds out that Karoku is part of Kafka? What will happen when the REAL Karoku wakes up? When will Gareki come back? We may not actually find out because, sadly, there is no season two.
