2015 Is Coming To An End

With the year coming to an end, everyone is creating new year resolutions. I'm over here like, let it end so my anime will come back on!

I am so ready for 2016. New anime seasons, new goals, and a lot of blog posts.

I am ready to see the next season of  Akagami No Shirayukihime. I will update each episode the day I watch it.  My dad and I watch most if the same anime, so we watch it on Saturday.

What to Expect in January

So as 2015 comes to an end, all use anime lovers are waiting for the next season of our shows that will be coming out this 2016 Winter. The following are a few that I cannot wait to see:

Assassination Classroom Season 2:
E-Class is back in another action-packed season. They are about to graduate and they STILL haven't killed Koro-sensei. Will he keep his word, and destroy the planet? What secrets will come out? Find out January 8th, 2016.

Akagami No Shirayukihime Season 2:

As many of you remember, I am a huge fan of this show. Now, season 2 is coming out. Will Shirayuki and Zen's romance expand? How does Obi feel about this? Find out January 12th, 2016! I'll be watching, will you?

Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut: 

This series is new. A overthrown prince accidentally goes into a bathroom of the new princess. She has to teach him a lesson. This is a mixture of harem and ecchi, so you know it will be funny and exciting. Im going to watch it, are you? This comes out January 11th, 2016.

Akagami No Shirayukihime Episode 9

This episode takes place immediately after Shirayuki paces out from the liquor. Poor girl couldn't handle a bit of alcohol. Okay, so do I have any Obi X Shirayuki fans out there? If so, then you want to watch this. Obi is supposed to look after Shirayuki, but his emotions get jumbled in as well. DUN DUN DUN! What is going to happen if Zen finds out?

Shirayuki wakes up, and walks out of her bedroom. Obi quickly writes a note to Prince Zen, and then caught up to her.  Some guards were watching them because they believe she is Zen's fiancee. Obi turns around to find Shirayuki crying because she doesn't know how to ride a horse. He becomes confused.

Obi asks her why she needs a horse. She doesn't answer, so he asks her if she is trying to runaway somewhere. She yells that Lord Haruka is in the opposite direction. She asks him why he isn't looking. He laughed and said that he wouldn't be there so conveniently. Obi notices that somebody is watching them, so he takes her inside the castle. He goes back down and captures the vermin. He continues his conversation with Shirayuki afterwards. He figures out that she was wanting to go to Fort Laxdo. He tells her he went already. He hands her a container filled with sekko plants, and a record book of everyone's health progress. Shirayuki tells Obi they should head back, but she passes out.

Akagami No Shirayukihime Episode 8

Here is another AMV. The song is Waiting For Superman by Daughtry. 

The episode starts off with Shirayuki and Ryuu going to pick a plant because the rain stopped. In Zen's office they are all discussing the situation Raji created. The final conclusion, Obi is to be Shirayuki's bodyguard. He meets up with Shirayuki, and helps with her job. She explains to him that he should keep his mask on because of the smell can make you drunk. He purposely takes hers off(I think he wanted to see how she acts when she is drunk.) 

Obi and Shirayuki are bringing the roka fruits to the storage, but stops halfway to chat. Zen and Mituhide come out of a LONG meeting to hear, Obi ask Shirayuki if she ever wishes Zen wasn't a prince. Zen and Mitsuhide flinches at the question. Shirayuki takes a bottle of roka juice from him, and says," The next time you say that, I'll take it as an insult."  She gives Obi back the roka, and walks off.

Akagami No Shirayukihime Episode 7

I found this AWESOME AMV on Youtube. It ties into episode 6 not 7, but it's a great recap!

Remember what happened at the end of the episode yesterday? When Shirayuki runs, and says Zens name? That is how this episode starts off.  She turns around because she couldn't find him, but before she could run off Zen yells her name. She climbs up the tree, and he helps her to his balcony. She can't take it any longer, and she hugs him.  He asks he if something happened. She tells him "Yeah. Kind of."  

OPENING!!!!

AND WE"RE BACK IN 3...2...1! The first thing that happens is Zen comforting Shirayuki.

"Shirayuki, what happened? Is it about my brother?" he asked. She just squeezed the back of his shirt. 

Akagami No Shirayukihime Episode 6

I'm sorry I didn't post this yesterday, my internet went down.

In the beginning of episode 6 we are immediately introduced to Prince Izana, Zen's older brother. Shirayuki is waking around the castle halls, when she notices Zen on the wall cleaning his sword. He stops in the middle of his sentence, and blushes when he looks up at her(he thinks she looks CUTE!). Zen tells Shirayuki that they might not be able to see each other often for a little while. She gets bummed out, but if you notice somebody was watching them. DUN! DUN! DUN! 

The next scene takes place in Zen's office. On Mitsuhide, Kiki, and Zen's way to the archives, Kiki notices the increase of guards, and their positions. Obi is suddenly hit with a stone, causing a scratch on his face. Who else would it be other than this mysterious man(above). Zen gets a little irritated when he realizes he will be summoned by his brother. 

Akagami No Shirayuki Episode 5

This episode starts off with Zen, Shirayuki, Mitsuhide, Obi, and Kiki riding to a different city. Shirayuki is going to Laxdo for medicinal herbs, while the others are going to check up on an army. They drop Shirayuki off, and continue to the fort.. Nobody is to be seen, so they start to worry. A smaller soldier opens the wooden window, and tells them he will be right down. When he comes out he falls on his face!


He tells Prince Zen not to go in because the force was possessed by an evil spirit. Everybody became extremely ill, and ended up having to sleep n the main hall to stay warm. Zen takes a look at the soldiers, and he tells the others that he is going to look around the inside of the fort. Everybody tells him not to, but he tells Mitsuhide that he will be out by sunset.

Obi looks inside the armory to discover it has been ransacked. The only soldier who is able to stand didn't even realize this had happened. Obi suggests to Zen that they go bandit hunting because that is his specialty. Kiki thinks for a minute, and then suggests that they ask Shirayuki to help diagnose the soldiers.


Mitsuhide arrives back at Fort Laxdo with Shirayuki. She talks to the soldier, and finds out there wasn't enough medicinal herbs. He tells her his name is Shuka, and ask if he can be of any help. She tells him the only thing he needs to do for her is rest. Once she leaves the main hall, she tells Zen to go outside. He argues with her about not leaving her, but Mitsuhide points out Zen said he would be only stay in until sunset. Mitsuhide then teases him. Inside the fort, Shirayuki is still trying to figure out what happened, when all of a sudden she looses balance, and falls to her knees. Shuka jumps over the bench to her aid. At that point she realizes that the symptoms are different because of where the soldier is positioned. The closer they are to the fire, the worse they are. Shirayuki runs outside to Zen. She is panting when he notices her. She tells him that the cause of their illness is because of the firewood they took in from a band of travelers.

When Shuka says that he is feeling better because of Shirayuki's medicine, she let's out a sigh of relief. When she leans against the large door, and Zen notices her hands charred and shaking. They stay there the next couple of days. The second day they are there, Zen is informed that the bandits who had taken the armory was in Laxdo. Shirayuki is at the fort helping the soldiers, but she hasn't had ANY rest. She almost fell asleep at her desk, when she heard Zen call her name. He asks if she was asleep, but she tells him no.
Then, he tells her to look outside. All the soldiers are working hard.

Akagami No Shirayukihime Episode 4

This episode starts off with Ryuu, the youngest Court Herbalist, giving papers to the Chief Herbalist, Garak, about the Court Herbalist auditions. Zen is outside looking at the Court Herbalist information. Mitsuhide teases him for being "antsy" all week.  Before the opening song you see Shirayuki walking up the steps where the conference room for the Court Herbalist applicants are to meet.

AND WE"RE BACK! Shirayuki and the rest of the applicants just got told they have to wait a little bit for the other applicants, so she decides to follow Ryuu. She looks at what he has gathered up, and realizes what he is making...she accidentally spoke out loud what he needed. He turned around, and she was embarrassed, but he looked at her and thought she was the most beautiful person he had ever laid eyes upon. He starts talking to her about medicinal plants, and she becomes interested. She goes over to sit by him, and he becomes embarrassed.  As Ryuu runs off, Zen yells out for Shirayuki. He asks her if she is calm. Her response:
"Kind of."

"Kind of?" (Zen said this)

Shirayuki grabs Zen's hand. Holds it for about 5 seconds. "Yeah. I'll be back!" she says.

The assignment for the applicants:

"You will be responsible for a small medicinal herb garden in the castle, tending to and protecting the environment and plants inside the garden. After two days, there will be an inspection, and after that, you will submit a report." (As said by Garak)

Later that night, Zen watches Shirayuki hard at work, while the other applicants are asleep. Zen knows he isn't supposed to be near her for the two days, but when somebody is shuffling through the hedges, and ducks inside of the greenhouse. He becomes flustered when Shirayuki asks him why he was there. All of a sudden...

Somebody locked them inside! After they have a very brief conversation he asked if she had enough sleep.

"Did you get enough sleep?" he asked.

"I slept." she said.

"Sometimes, you smile and evade the question." he said.

Akagami No Shirayukihime: Episode 3

Did you finish watching the first two episodes? I did...well, I watched the whole first season. In episode 3 you will see A LOT more Shirayuki X Zen. If you ship them you are going to be VERY happy.

Now that Shirayuki is coming to the palace more often, people are becoming suspicious...or a particular man, Lord Haruka.  He tries to make it that Shirayuki cannot enter the castle! He believes that she is trying to take advantage of Zen.

This episode starts off with Shirayuki waking up. She had fallen asleep at her desk, studying to become the next Court Herbalist. When Shirayuki goes to the castle one day because Kiki and Mitsuhide asked for her help. He had been working all night without rest. Mitsuhide says that they called Shirayuki because Zen said," If I have time to sleep, then I have time to see Shirayuki."

When she was about to leave he jumped up and made her stay. They ended up going to a different room, where Zen eventually falls asleep. She forgets her book she was reading when she leaves. Afterwards, when Zen wakes up, Lord Haruka engages in "wordplay" with Zen about his relationship with Shirayuki.


Later that day she is looking at herbs, and realizes that overhears *A NEW CHARACTER* tell the guards that she is banned from the castle, and that he had a paper signed by Prince Zen himself. She doesn't believe that Zen would do that, so she runs to the castle. The guards tell Obi (the new character) that they just let her in. She is cautious going through the castle because she believes it could be true. He does everything he can to keep her away from him. He shoots an arrow at her, but she doesn't give up.

She takes ," a round about way to get to the prince." Obi is about to throw his dagger when he ears Zen yell,"Shirayuki!" Obi disappears, and Zen asks why she has an arrow behind her. She tells him everything...Zen DOES NOT like it. She tells him that she is going to confront whomever is behind all of this. Zen tells her who he thinks is the mastermind.

Later that day, Shirayuki confronts Lord Haruka. He asks her what she is doing in the castle, and how she got in. Her response:

"Through the Poet's Gate, with permission from a certain personage. I am going to see him now, so if you doubt me, would you like to come along?"

She walks towards Haruka, but he yells "Wait!" and pulls out his sword. He tells her that she should not be at the castle because of her social status. She tells him, if she should not be there he should stop her with his sword. Every time she steps closer he brings the sword away from her. He then remembers what Zen said previously," Never trying to advance with her own power,huh?" He puts his sword away as she passes him.

She knew that he was the mastermind behind this repulsive activity.
"Do you know anything about an order purported to be from Prince Zen?" she asks.
Obi interrupts before Lord Haruka could speak. Shirayuki has no idea who this mysterious person is, who just came from the window. He takes full responsibility, but Haruka won't allow him to. He said he did it thinking of Prince Zen.


Prince Zen walks in admitting to eavesdropping. He explains social status' do not matter to him, and tells Obi he will keep him close. When they are left alone, Shirayuki tells Zen that she is going to apply for the Court Herbalist auditions. He is happy to hear this.

Nightcore

I know many people don't consider Nightcore anime, but I still like this band. Nightcore is a band that changes the speed and sounds of songs. Do you listen to their songs? Personally, I thin the are better than the original songs. Below are my top 5:

Akagami No Shirayukihime: Episode 2

    In this episode, Zen invites Shirayuki to his castle.  It starts off with Shirayuki making breakfast for her new neighbor in Clarines. In return the ady gives her freshly made bread. Shirayuki tells the woman that she is going to look for a job. When she goes to a local herb business she finds out that they don't need workers, but the castle is having a contest for the next assistant herbalist.

    When Shirayuki goes to the castle later, Zen surprises her. He jumps off the top of the gate. They have a cute conversation, which makes the guards turn completely red. When he asks her what she is doing there she responds that she was going to tell him when she is leaving town. He decides he will accompany her to the port (mostly to get out of doing deskwork).



    On their way to the port Shirayuki's red hair gets pointed out multiple times, making Zen a bit uncomfortable that Shirayuki doesn't care a bit. When she gets on the boat to go to the forest Zen overhears two men talking about her hair, he does NOT like it. Shirayuki promises him she will be home before dark and sails off, happily.

  After his encounter with the men (seen in the previous picture), Zen starts to worry. He should, too, because not long after Shirayuki arrives a man kidnaps her! The man tells her he is going to "present" her to some rich people. He also makes the suggestion of keeping her until her hair grew out. Then, he locks her in a cell. She ends up staying awake all night sawing the ropes off her wrists.



     The next morning, Zen goes to Shirayuki's home. To his surprise her finds out she has not turned up. This makes him worry....A LOT! He rides off on his brown horse to the port, and he goes to find his "friend". Shirayui's kidnapper gives her food, but in the process she attacks him and locks him in.....or so she thought. She tried every door on the first floor, but all of them were locked. The man comes from the second floor. She tries to make him numb with lantern gas. It ends up failing, and he catches up to her as soon as she escapes the mansion. As soon as the man tries to hit Shirayuki with a stick of fire, Zen comes and save her.




      Zen throws his sword making the fire fly out of the other guy's hand. What happens next? They FIGHT! Zen ends up winning, and makes the man (his name is told later: Mihaya) tell his story. Zen is relieved to find out that Shirayuki is okay. The next morning, Shirayuki gets so frustrated that Zen is barely talking to her that he yells at him. As soon as he saw her stubborn face, he was happy. He pretty much confesses his feelings for her, but she doesn't get it.

Akagami No Shirayukihime: Episode 1

        Many of you have probably heard of the new series Akagami No Shirayukihime, also known as Snow White with the Red Hair.   This is an amazing series, in my opinion

Akagami No Shirayukihime Opening

     This series is Shirayuki's story. The first episode starts off with Shirayuki. She has red hair (which is rare during this period of time). She has beautiful, emerald green eyes. She is running away from Tanbarun (her home country) because the prince  (Prince Raji) wants her to be his concubine. She cut her long hair and traveled to the neighboring country. She was an herbalist, and helped everybody.

She ends up in the kingdom of Clarines. She falls asleep outside of an abandoned house is the woods. In the morning she is awoken by a bird eating her food. She sits up and a good-looking boy her age jumps over the stone wall.  He has large, blue eyes. His hair is as white as the snow, and he is the second prince of Clarines. His name is Zen, and it was love at first sight...for both of them.

He hurt his arm trying not to fall on her. She feels sorry and explains that she is an herbalist, and tries to give him medicine. He says he will not accept it because it could be poisonous. Shirayuki is stubborn, so she grabs his sword and hits her forearm with it and says," Unfortunately, I don't make it a habit of carrying poison around."
After that he drops his sword, and let's her help him.





Shirayuki  doesn't answer why she ran away, when Zen asks. She tells them she is going on a  walk through the woods. Zen is as stubborn as Shirayuki, so when she decides to go to the woods he uses the line,"It'd be dishonorable as a gentleman to allow an injured girl to go into the woods alone."

When she is talking to him she leans up against a tree, and her hair gets stuck. She tells him to cut it off,but he wants to know why she cut it and why she ran away. When she tells him why he LAUGHS!!!
When they come back they are greeted with a basket full of apples, with the ribbon she used to tie her hair together, around it. Little did she know was that it was poisonous. Zen on the other hand had his suspicions, after he reads the letter. She was about to take a bite when he lifted her hand up and bit it. He told Mitsuhide and Kiki," Don't be mad." and passed out.


Prince Raj threatens to let Zen die unless Shirayuki begs him to be his concubine. Zen was already preparing himself to be poisoned sooner or later, so he was able to get up without the antidote. He busts open the door, and threatens Raj. The deal was if he stayed away from Shirayuki and never said her name again, nobody would know what happened. He promises and returns to Tanbarun.

In the end, Zen tells Shirayuki that she needs to choose her own fate. Her response was," Is that okay for me to decide?" He tells her it is, and takes his hand.
